Turning Forty

I'm forty now.
Don't feel any different, though.

Did a rewrite of my submission for Coming Up over the weekend and got it in by the deadline. Phew!

Not much writing going to happen this week. I've got a party on Saturday and the lawn needs mowing, the house needs tidying, the food and drink needs buying, the balloons need blowing, etc etc.

Wow, OLD! You're like, old enuff to be my DAD! (Well, if you were 14 when you sired me...which isn't that unlikely where I live!)

Just joshing, of course.

Happy Birthday! Enjoy your party. Can I come? I've decided to opt out of having this baby. Someone else can do it.

Hasn't that child arrived yet?!

Good grief. Not a good start from an obedience point of view.

40 is the new 30. That's what people told me anyhow. Now I'm closer to what must therefore be the new 40.
