Ayesha gets involved in trying to trace the relatives of a woman who the authorities are unable to identify.
I'm really looking forward to this one. With the usual Summer break coming up, this is my last episode until September.
More importantly, this is a story I first pitched to Doctors almost ten years ago. It didn't fit at the time, and then it got largely forgotten, but I never abandoned it.
Obviously, it was never originally pitched for Ayesha (it was a Jimmi story ten years' ago), but an opportunity came along for a special Ayesha episode, and this one seemed to fit the bill.
I haven't seen it yet. Can't wait.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 29 April. 13:45. BBC1, and iPlayer thereafter.
I hope it's worth the wait.
